All partners of schools, pupils and designers, design and science centers meet in Leeuwarden.
The schools De Wielen from Leeuwarden and Prof. Wassenberghskoalle show the partners Leeuwarden, the city and the innovative places.
During this meeting we talk about the report, the manual, the experiences we had and of course our next steps!
The end is near of this great two year project, but the first steps are being made to continue setting up an Erasmus+ project.
But first we share our experiences of the last two years:
Conference 3D Comenius 3D printing in education 16th of June 2015 Blokhuispoort, Leeuwarden.

3D Comenius project
It all began in 2012 with a 3D-printing project at the Trilker a primary school in Leeuwarden. Designers and children designed solar boats which were printed by a 3D-printer. In the autumn of that year House of Design took designers and makers to Into The Great Wide Open where we came in contact with Ben Matoren, director of VMBO the Krijtenburg where the first plans were made for an international project to introduce 3D-thinking at schools with the support of product designers. The lifelong learning project 3D Comenius was born.
With support from the province of Friesland we were able to evolve this project.
